Since then, I have handled pretty much every kind of matter in Harris County, Montgomery County, Waller County, Fort Bend County, Brazoria County, Galveston County, Chambers County and Liberty County. I have even gone outside of this area.
I can tell you that one area you should consider in hiring an attorney is whether or not he or she can handle courtroom practice. A lawyer who is not comfortable in the courtroom is no better than a doctor who recoils at the sight of blood. Those who know me will tell you I never back down from a fight in court when it comes to that. I have had several dozen jury trials, hundreds of non-jury trials and my number of ancillary hearings must number into the thousands. If you want a weak, passive attorney, don't hire me.
